Our business model is straight forward: we directly invest in and operate impact orientated solar energy producing assets. These can be replicated across the entire Caribbean, typically working in partnership alongside administrators and leadership teams to provide the support that is essential to realizing great success. As entrepreneurs, we at SunTerra have the know-how and experience to help develop, grow and to overcome inevitable challenges along the way, never losing sight of the long term.

Our Focus

 

We focus on enterprises that serve a real purpose within society, but need our support to be realized and transformed into sustained growth assets. We are not passive investors who ‘hope for the best’, nor are we consultants who engage from the sidelines; we are hands-on operators. The SunTerra team is always ready to roll up their sleeves and work alongside local administrators and regulators, often during difficult inflection points to overcome any obstacle and develop creative solutions. We never give up.

We value and respect the entrepreneurial spirit – in fact, we live by it. We are unique in that we truly know what it means to conceptualize, develop, approve, construct, start, and operate energy producing assets, because we recognize amongst our team those who have successfully done it.

 

Our perspective is distinctly regional and cross-sector, from technology and finance, to leadership and data science, among many others. Our diversity amongst the team enables us to connect the dots, exporting learnings from our various backgrounds to innovate and create value.

Our Mission

 

Our mission at SunTerra isn’t simply to raise capital in the energy field where funding support is already readily accessible to entrepreneurs. What drives us is our mission to empower the Caribbean to become a world leader in clean energy, by raising performance, especially in countries where there is untapped potential, and a need for investment exists. However, the demand for capital exceeds the supply and this is a Challenge for the Caribbean.

 

This is why many of the Islands have not been able to achieve their full potential. We are driven by not only the returns we provide to shareholders, but also the advancement of clean energy and reduction of carbon footprints in one of the most eco diverse parts of the world.
